Charles-Antoine Rouyer is a freelance writer and broadcaster specialized in Health & Environment & Economy (including Urban Health, Sustainable Cities, Urban Ecology and Ecotourism)

Charles-Antoine has been contributing to several local and national media outlets (print, radio, TV, Internet). He has collaborated with Radio-Canada (French CBC), local Toronto and national radio, as well as with CBC radio and television, TfO, Ontario's French TV channel, Le Devoir daily newspaper in Montreal, Corporate Knights magazine, Canadian Architect magazine, and recently Elle Québec, as well as dailies in France, Libération and Ouest France

Charles-Antoine is also course director at York University, teaching a Communication, Health & Environment course (http://glendon.yorku.ca/carouyer), in the Health & Environment Studies program, Multidisciplinary Department, Glendon College, York University, since 2004/2005.

As a public speaker, Charles-Antoine has presented at the 2007 and 2008 International Urban Health Conference. In 2007, he has guest lectured at the graduate level at McMaster University (Engineering and Sustainability) and was a guest speaker at the University of Toronto, Health & Environment Seminars Series. In February 2008, Charles-Antoine was a speaker for the City of Toronto Public Health Department, Planning and Policy Directorate (internal training seminar).

Charles-Antoine holds a B.A. in Economics (minor in Psychology) from Glendon College, York University (1990), journalism training from Ryerson Polytechnic University (Continuing Education) as well as organizational behavior and psychology training from the University of Toronto.

Charles-Antoine also holds a multidisciplinary Master of Environmental Studies (MES) from York University, Toronto, Canada (1998), specializing in Urban Environmental Health Journalism (Healthy Cities).

Born and raised in Bordeaux, France, Charles-Antoine currently lives in Toronto, Canada where he has now spent over half of his life.
